Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to Maconaquah School Corporation! Our schools have a rich tradition with many successful alumni that range from skilled tradesmen to CEO’s of global companies. We are known as a progressive leader in academics, career preparedness, and fine arts. Our course offerings, co-curricular programs, and extracurricular programs are among the finest in the state.  Our students and teachers are equipped with the newest technology and educational resources in order to facilitate teaching and learning and increase engagement in every classroom.

Each school in our district boasts its own unique programming to meet the needs of all students.  Pipe Creek Elementary School hosts the county's only Paths to Quality preschool program for students ages 3-5.  Additionally, our preschool program is FSSA certified and accepts CCDF funding.  Maconaquah Elementary School and Maconaquah Middle School are both STEM certified through the Indiana Department of Education.  Both STEM schools schedule opportunities to make sure that students are in a collaborative hands-on learning environment each day.  Maconaquah High School offers 14 different career pathways and multiple dual credit opportunities.   These offerings allow students to explore many different career fields while earning post-secondary credits and certifications.

Our teachers strive to ensure an engaging, relevant, and rigorous curriculum for all students at Maconaquah School Corporation. We work collaboratively to establish an atmosphere where every student can succeed at his/her level of achievement.  We look forward to partnering with all families during their child’s educational journey.

I urge each student to get involved in their education. Make learning fun and challenge yourself to grow in everything you do.
